My Story
My name is John Householder, and I am a senior at St. Mark’s School of Texas located in Dallas. I am 17 years old, and I am an aspiring researcher, inventor, and leader passionate about environmental engineering and improving urban infrastructure. I am also a national-level competitive volleyball player (Excel 17 Red National Team, setter).

I have been studying, exploring and researching environmental engineering and urban infrastructure issues throughout high school, and wanted to share my findings, including my research on the Dallas water situation, my summer project with Dr. Stefan Al, as well as my current project exploring a renewable energy project.

I was also very pleased to be selected for the Environmental Sciences Award at St. Mark's. This is usually awarded to one senior per year so I am grateful to have received it as a junior.
